BozemanOnline.com Pigskin Challenge Rules
1. The objective of the game is to gain the most "points" each week, and for the entire NFL season. Players must pick the winner of each NFL game each week of the season, and will score 1 "point" for each correct pick. Should any games end in a tie, no points are awarded for that game.
    a. (17) Weekly prizes will be awarded to the player who gains the most points each week.
    b. (1) Season prize will be awarded to the top player (by points scored) at the end of the season.
    c. (TBD) Additional prizes may be awarded (first/second half of the season, etc) as prizes are donated by sponsors.

2. Picks must be made prior to kickoff for each game. If a player does not make his/her selections in time for the first game of the week, he/she may still make selections for the later games, provided that the picks are made prior to scheduled kickoff time for each game.

3. In the event of 2 (or more) players tying for the most points in any given week, the tiebreaker shall be based on the final game to be played (generally the Monday night game) each week:

    a. 1st Tiebreaker: The participant who correctly picks the winner of the tiebreaker game is the winner.
    b. 2nd Tiebreaker: The participant who most closely picks the score of the tiebreaker game (sum of differential between the participant's score and the actual score for each team). The participant with the smallest differential is the winner. If no predicted score is submitted by a participant, they are given a default prediction of 0 points to 0 points. It is possible for a default prediction to break a tie.
    c. 3rd Tiebreaker: The participant whose predicted score for the winning team of the tiebreaker game most closely matches the actual score of the winning team is the winner.
    d. 4th Tiebreaker: The participant with the highest overall total points is the winner.
    e. 5th Tiebreaker: The participant with the highest total points earned one week prior is the winner.
    f. 6th Tiebreaker (and so on): The entrant with the highest total points earned two weeks prior is the winning entry. Tiebreakers will continue backwards using each previous week's total until the tie is broken or no previous weeks remain.
NOTE: In all cases, an entry that does not win a tiebreaker is eliminated from consideration.

4. In the event of 2 (or more) players tying for a position at the end of the season, the tiebreaker shall be as follows:

    a. 1st Tiebreaker: The participant with the higher number of points for week 17 shall be the winner.
    b. 2nd Tiebreaker: The participant with the higher number of points for week 16 shall be the winner.
    c. 3rd Tiebreaker: The participant with the higher number of points for week 15 shall be the winner.
    d. 4th Tiebreaker: The participant with the higher number of points for week 14 shall be the winner.
    e. 5th Tiebreaker: The participant with the higher number of points for week 13 shall be the winner.
    f. 6th Tiebreaker: The participant with the higher number of points for week 12 shall be the winner.
    g. Tiebreakers shall continue week by week as above until a winner is determined or no previous weeks remain. In the event that no previous weeks remain and 2 (or more) participants are still tied, the winner will be selected at random.
